Digital textile printing systems are used by print service providers, garment decorators and the production departments of large web-to-print and eCommerce brands. ColorGATE’s Textile Productionserver ensures the color accurate production, from the creative stage through to printing and quality assurance.

It processes PDF, Photoshop and pixel files, for example from the popular Adobe creative applications. Pantone® libraries, including the ones for the textile industry, are included with most configurations.

The Textile Productionserver ensures constant and reliable results from your printing system, be it on different types of textiles, different printing systems and even across different production sites!

ColorGATE’s Textile Productionserver supports XML/JDF and naming conventions, enabling production automation and supporting shop and workflow setups. This includes the automated creation of white underbases for dark textiles, with our industry leading “brightness” algorithm. With ColorGATE, you print quality designs on garments and fabrics, in a color accurate and economical fashion.

The Textile Productionserver is available in different base configurations, for direct-to-garment printing (DTG) as well as for roll-to-roll printing – direct or for transfers.

Application Areas

  • Direct-to-garment printing
  • Roll-to-roll textile printing (direct and transfer)

    Interfaces:

    Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB, FireWire

    Use in virtualized environments:

    Software based licenses:

Operation of the ColorGATE software on virtual machines is not permitted with software based licenses.

    Hardware based licenses ("hardware dongle"):

If the virtualization solution supports USB, ColorGATE software can usually be operated with hardware based licenses. Please note, however, that ColorGATE cannot provide support for problems that occur in the context of the virtualization solution. There may be restrictions when printers, measuring devices or cutting plotters are connected via USB. In addition, the hardware requirements must be exclusively available as resources for the virtual machine to ensure a high-performance operation of the software. For these reasons, we recommend using virtualized environments for testing purposes only.
