(Junior) Sales Manager Digital Printing (d/f/m)

As a (Junior) Sales Manager Digital Printing, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process in relevant industrial application segments. You will identify and develop new business opportunities with (OEM) partners and direct customers, as well as maintain and grow existing accounts. You will guide prospects, direct customers and (OEM) partners to the most suitable ColorGATE solution for their business needs.

Your Mission

The (Junior) Sales Manager Digital Printing reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with the ColorGATE team to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction. The scope of activities includes, but is not limited to:

  • Building trusted and collaborative relationships with C-level key players on the business side as well as on the technical and production side with prospects, direct customers and (OEM) partners in the industrial market.
  • Developing and executing annual business plans for each relevant segment and tracking progress throughout the year.
  • Maximizing sales opportunities with prospects, direct customers and (OEM) partners by providing them with tailored solutions, ongoing communication and proactive guidance using a structured sales methodology.
  • Collecting market feedback, evaluating new opportunities, business models and product enhancements in collaboration with the ColorGATE Product Management, Professional Services and Leadership teams.
  • Leveraging our CRM system for opportunity management, enabling transparent and accurate sales pipeline and forecast reporting.
  • Promoting ColorGATE solutions and continuously communicate ColorGATE messages to prospects, direct customers, (OEM) partners and relevant stakeholders (e.g. industry organizations).

You bring that

  • Ideally 3+ years' experience in a C-level account management or business development role in the (industrial) digital printing market.
  • Passionate, self-motivated and able to handle a demanding workload
  • Experience in an international B2B sales environment (with a high technical content) using a structured selling methodology (e.g. Sandler Selling System®)
  • Knowledge of digital printing and color management workflows for the (industrial) digital printing market is a strong advantage
  • High cultural I.Q: The international environment requires tactful influencing and persuasion with an understanding of cultural and business differences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and execute against agreed KPI's
  • Ability to work remotely (home office) with limited supervision
  • Experience with a CRM system (HubSpot preferred)
  • Fluent in English and German - written, read and spoken.  Knowledge of additional languages a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%)
