Demand Generation Specialist (m/f/d)

ColorGATE provides software, services and tools. We focus on print data generation and color management for industrial printing. Our customers are users and manufacturers of industrial printing systems, primarily in the surface decoration, textile, packaging and ceramics printing spaces. Our technology enables and drives the digital transformation of production processes for products that you are in touch with every day.

We are looking for a Demand Generation Specialist to become part of our Marketing team. In that role, you will be working at the start of the Marketing and Sales funnel and will identify new contacts that would benefit from our offerings.

In order to be successful in this position, you are a fan of live conversations on the phone and online, but also a good communicator via email. You have an outgoing, friendly, convincing nature and love to consult and brainstorm with your conversation partner. You have a good command of English and German language, oral and written – additional languages will be considered a plus!

Your Mission

Your primary goal is to generate demand for ColorGATE’s offerings. This includes but is not limited to the follow activities:

  • Contacting raw leads from marketing campaigns and qualifying their interest in ColorGATE’s solutions
  • Keeping contact records complete and up to date in our CRM solution Hubspot
  • Identification of target suspects from available sources (industry directories, yellow pages, etc.), compile lists, work through them
  • Developing and maintaining, together with Marketing management, scripts for the calls to be sure that you address every aspect of our value proposition
  • Scheduling appointments for our Sales Managers
  • Producing reports about your activities and relevant KPIs for the optimization of our lead generation efforts
  • Proposing your own initiatives to identify new prospects for our Sales team

You bring that

  • Excellent telephone skills, friendliness, persuasiveness
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or in a sales / customer care position
  • Ability to identify and get through to the decision maker
  • Patience and cool temper in case of complaints or when talking to unfriendly contacts
  • Knowledge of standard computer applications such as Excel and Word. Experience in CRM systems, particularly Hubspot, will be considered a plus
  • Good command of English and German language, oral and written – additional languages will be considered a plus
