cFlow is ColorGATE revolutionary, cross-platform (Mac or PC) color server and preflight solution. cFlow significantly simplifies PDF workflows from the moment of PDF file import into cFlow until output on a printing system. Incoming PDF data are checked and if necessary corrected directly before an incorrect PDF file affects production (preflight); in this way, there is no better solution than cFlow, enabling such time and cost savings in no time and simplifying cooperation between companies, agencies, service providers and printers. cFlow version 1.3
The latest cFlow version 1.3 supports even more file formats. In addition, new color management features, device link profiles and the extended user management make cFlow even more efficient.
Support of new file formats
Beside common PDF files, cFlow now also handles separated PDF files, EPS-, PostScript (PS) and bitmap formats (TIFF, JPEG and PNG) as well as Microsoft Office files (a copy of MS-Office must be installed on the cFlow server). All file formats are transformed into PDF files by cFlow and subsequently checked for errors (preflight) and corrected and then be passed to color management as required. These feature and further functions, allow users to utilize cFlow as well as a PDF server.
Enhanced color management and new device link profiles
cFlow provides a large number of outstanding device link profiles, that again have been enhanced in version 1.3 In addition new functions ensure an excellent color management and perfect color space transformation functionalities so customers get brilliant print products in terms of color. Due to the excellent cooperation of all functions cFlow even becomes a complete color server.
Advanced user management and user groups
The administrator can manage multiple user configurations and assign different permissions to them, e.g. regarding the visibility of jobs and queues, or to access and delete files, etc.
