Filmgate Module FGM
The Filmgate Module FGM adds the complete range of Filmgate 6 functions to Productionserver to offer the following additional features:
- Chemical-free film creation for screen, pad and flexo printing in high-end quality
- Perfectly reproducible results and maximum production reliability thanks to the use of unique MIM technology
- Consistently reliable processing of composite PDF and separated PDF files (PDF X3)
- Predefined sets for all the popular screen widths and printer series; individual sets and screen settings can also be defined for spot colors at any time
- Highly efficient ICC Color Management for color-accurate in-RIP separation
Separations preview
Full color preview
Colored job preview in composite mode (merging of all separations)
Process color separations
Separations display in process colors
Halftone separations
Separations display in black/white
Arrangement on printing area
Output preview of the separation arrangement on the print medium
Fixed stencil size
Defined output area with output of cut marks and indication of protected margins.
Copy and layout print on fixed stencil size
Definition of output area with cut marks and indication of protected margins.
Filmgate Container
Creation of collective print jobs for film creation; including various additional functions.
ICC color management for separation creation
Separation creation based on selectable or embedded CMYK-ICC profiles. Selectable Rendering Intents for RGB-zo-CMYK conversions.
Dot gain correction
Up to +/- 40% for single or all separations or calculation of tonal value curves from a given ICC profile.
Auto separation
Automatic creation of CMYK separations
Spotcolor to CMYK
Conversion of embedded spot colors into the CMYK separations
Print black plate
Automatic deactivation of all separations except for black (K) for composite files.
Separations to jobs
Creates a separate print job from each separation of a print file.
Negative separations
Transformation of each separation to a negative output. The Info Text, Cut Marks and Registration Marks will also be printed inversely.
Redirect printheads
Print data redirection of a color to any available print head. The active print head can be selected for special film printers which are charged with multiple K cartridges.
Linearization adjustment
Ink level adjustment, if necessary adding ink for density adaption of screen printing films. Ink reduction curves for variable adjustment of the ink values to tonal values. Adjustment of the linearization of screen separations via densitometric (% dot) measurements. Linearization per channel, includes the dot gain limitation. Multiple output and measure steps for a linearization optimization; Each with recalculation of the linearization curve.
CMYK-Overprint
Remove or allow CMYK overprints. For Film and plate production.
Super Rosette 2
Acurate AM supercell screening with predefined silk screening angles.
Hybrid Screen 2
Hybrid screen uses AM supercell screening with predefined silk screening angles for three color separations and one FM screening for the fourth color separation.
Frequency Screen
State-of-the-art stochastic screen for silk screening.
PostScript Screen
Freely definable AM screening settings: Angles, frequencies and dot shapes.
The configurator assists you configuring your individual product.
