Computer to Screen Module CTSM
The Computer to Screen Module produces high-quality 1-bit TIFF-data in all required resolutions, also considering CtS-application-specific requirements.
Applying computer-to-screen process, the printing layout is transferred directly from the digital printing data onto the screen by using an inkjet printer or laser exposure. This procedure makes the screen printing process much faster, more productive and more profitable.
Separations preview
Function to display single color separations
Full color preview
Preview of composite colors, e.g. colors that are located on opposite side in the color circle: Blue/orange, red/green, yellow/violet. Function for merging all separations.
Process color separations
Display of separations in process colors.
Halftone separations
Display of separations in levels of gray.
Arrangement on printing Arrangement of separationsarea
Function to arrange the different separations according to the printing area, inclusive a preview of the separation arrangement on the print medium.
Fixed stencil/ screen size
Using a fixed screen size, the output area is defined precisely, inclusive cutting marks and indication of protected margins.
Copy and layout print on fixed stencil/ screen size
Function for copies and layout prints while using a fixed screen size where the output area is defined precisely, inclusive cutting marks and indication of protected margins.
ICC color management for separation creation
Creation of single separations according to CMYK ICC profiles that can be selected manually or that are already embedded in the file. Selectable rendering intents (different conversion method for color management systems) for the conversion of RGB color spaces to CMYK color spaces.
Dot gain correction/ color value correction
Function for dot gain correction/ color value correction of up to +/- 40% for single or all separations, and for calculation of tonal value curves from an existing ICC profile.
Auto separation
Function for the automatic creation of CMYK separations.
Conversion of spot colors to CMYK
Function for conversion of embedded spot colors into the CMYK separations.
Printing black separations
Function that deactivates all separations in composite files apart from the black (K) separation, so only the black separation can be printed.
Separations as jobs
Function that creates single print jobs of each separation of a print file.
Linearization adjustment
Function for linearization adjustment enables:
- Adjustment of ink level
- Linearization of screen separations via densitometric (% dot) measurements
- Linearization per channel inclusive adaption of the dot gain/color gamut range
- Optimization of the linearization by multiple outputting and measuring of the calibration target; each with recalculation of the linearization curve.
