RIP Process

In the RIP process, PostScript, PDF and raster formats are converted into system-specific raster data for output on printing systems. ColorGATE is one of the world’s first providers to use RIP technology to solve additional major problems in the field of color management and in raster separation; this has meanwhile become a standard. With the help of the linearization function, RIPs guarantee consistent quality, which is particularly important when creating color-consistent digital proofs. RIP processes can be added individually and in packages of three at any time, as needed.
