Productionserver 7 for Epson SureColor SC-S70600

Until 16 May 2012, live at drupa 2012 customers can experience ColorGATE RIP software Productionserver 7.10 (PS7), together with the new Epson SureColor SC-S70600, the first Epson 64” printer, supporting white and metallic colors for printing on transparent or very dark material at the same time. So ColorGATE is the world's first RIP software supplier to support the new Epson SureColor SC-S70600.

The combination of ColorGATE RIP software Productionserver 7.10 and the new Epson SureColor SC-S70600 is ideal for all customers that intend to produce print products quickly, easily, and with brilliant colors — for example signs, decorations, displays for exhibitions, posters, banners, textiles, displays with background lighting, POS materials, wrappings for vehicles, wallpapers and labels. The simplicity of interaction between ColorGATE RIP software and Epson SureColor SC-S70600 in practice is demonstrated live at drupa 2012 by the ColorGATE trade show team at Epson booth (hall 05/ booth A01-1).

The Epson SureColor SC-S70600 is equipped with a very broad color space and uses Epson UltraChrome GSX inks that have been specially developed for this printer. These can be employed either as a set of eight or ten colors — the set of eight colors contains CMYK plus light magenta, light cyan, light black and orange; the set of ten colors additionally contains white and metallic. Epson SureColor SC-S70600 used together with the excellent color management of the ColorGATE RIP software Productionserver 7.10 will produce impressive print results with dense shades of white, very smooth tonal value nuances and color gradients, neutral grays and amazing special metallic effects. It is possible to print on materials such as transparent film, vinyl, canvas, photo paper and many other banner media up to 162.6 cm width. The field-proven TFP print head ensures precise droplets and long life material.
