Productionserver 6 supports the new HP Scitex FB500 and HP Scitex FB700 UV flatbed printers

The two new HP Scitex FB500/FB700 UV flatbed printers are the ideal choice for digital and screen printers, signage printers, finishers and large repro companies who produce orders using any rigid and flexible media. With a printing width of 163 cm (FB500) or 250 cm (FB700), a resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dpi and the option of using white ink, these new printers cover a large range of flexible applications.

Borderless and double-side printing; container or nested printing; print on flexible through optional roll-to-roll upgrade kit; media detection; stored media settings: thanks to Productionserver 6 from ColorGATE and its specially developed driver technology, the many features of the new HP systems can now be used considerably more conveniently and efficiently, which is also always a real time saver.

Ink Saver, the exclusive ColorGATE innovation that is able to reduce ink costs by up to 30 percent, is also available for both printers. Other advantages: more stable printing pro-cesses, improved gray balance, shorter drying times.

The tried-and-trusted modular RIP software concept also offers additional customized extension options. The printers can be controlled using any version of the Productionserver 6 from Select to UXT – our interactive system will help you to put together the optimum configuration for your production environment. The HP Scitex FB500/FB700 is available starting immediately in the Productionserver 6 Cat 2 or Cat 3 driver category.
