ColorGATE service team now certified as Fogra Digital Print experts

A world’s first in the industry: employees at ColorGATE, the software RIP vendor, have now been certified by Fogra as digital print experts. Following a period of intensive training with a focus on such different topics as professional color management and communication, working with the required hardware and software and digital proofs according to ISO12647-7 and ISO/CD 12647-8 (validation print), technical specialists Agnes Etzkorn, Mario Naito and Gerrit Andre along with Janis Katomeris from the ColorGATE Sales Support team successfully completed the extensive practical and written examination.

As a result, the training course graduates are now expertly qualified to set up, calibrate and reliably evaluate digital printing systems on the basis of the ISO standards for contract and validation proofing. In addition, they are able to competently train their own customers in how to evaluate digital printing systems according to the requirements of ISO/CD- 12647-8 and to set them up accordingly. If conformity is an issue, the quality achieved can be confirmed competently and independently with the help of the FograCert Validation Print Creation system.
