Why is my SCREENFILM deformed during printing (curling effect)?

An important advice when ColorGATE SCREENFILM is used:
Because of the K3 printer optimized coating the film shows a slight curling effect. The strong coating is more sensitive to outside influences than the base material and causes a tension on the film's first centimeters of the film. We already have communicated this issue with our film producer, the complexity of the production process leads to a longer period of time to change.

In testing we have achieved an easy solution in moving the film forward a bit to improve the suction of the printer. A contact between print head and media will be avoided. Therefore enter a header of 40-50 mm in the hotfolder to use the full advantages of the SCREENFILM without any restrictions.
