 EXPRESS PROFILER Module (EPFM) - a new ICC profile in just three steps
EPFM allows the accelerated creation of ICC profiles for output devices. It is able to adapt an existing color profile for one media/one ink to a new media/to a new ink with similar properties.

And here's how it works: Select the existing ICC profile with the defined MIM combination* and choose the corresponding modification, for example:
- Same medium, different ink, same metamode
- Different medium, same ink, same metamode
- Different medium, same ink, different metamode
- Same medium, different ink, different metamode
 Then print a target, compare the measured values with the original profile's data and use the deviations to calculate the new profile. That's all there is to it.
* MIM (Media-Ink-Metamode): Selection technique for the parameter Medium (M) that influences the color and production, Ink (I) and Metamode (M). Every MIM combination links the profile, linearization and print mode settings to form a logical unit.
In comparison to the already available PROFILER Module, only a simple target has to be printed and measured. This results into a profile with a comparable quality but with less effort to create.
EPFM is an option for ColorGATE PRODUCTIONSERVER and PHOTOGATE.
